Kwesi Baiden

Kwesi Baiden is currently the Deputy CEO at Margins Group an identity solutions company made up of 3 subsidiaries. Prior to that he was the Senior Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Transocean one of the largest drilling companies in the world. In this role, he had oversight of the company’s global compliance program reporting to the Audit Committee and the General Counsel of the Company. Kwesi joined Transocean in February 2020.
Prior to that he spent 12 years working for Valaris plc and its predecessor companies in a variety of legal roles, including as Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Legal Operations Counsel overseeing the company’s global team of lawyers. He has a JD and an LLM from Columbia University and is admitted to the New York and California bar and is also admitted to the Ghana bar.
Kwesi started his career in New York City working for the prestigious law firms of Skadden Arps and Weil Gothal as a corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions attorney respectively.

Emmanuel Selby is an Executive Director of Technology with over 15 years of experience in delivering large-scale technology projects, particularly in identity management and card personalization. At Margins ID Group, he has built a strong expertise in system integration, technical design, and project execution, making him a key leader in the company’s technology-driven initiatives. One of his most notable achievements was leading the digitization and issuance of the Biometric Vehicle Registration System for Ghana’s DVLA. In this project, Emmanuel oversaw the design, build, and delivery of a turnkey solution, coordinating sub-contractor activities and integrating systems like AFIS, data collection, and personalization infrastructure. Additionally, he managed the digitization of over 20 million forms for 2 million vehicles in Ghana. He also played a critical role in expanding the National ID system, handling technical system design, integration of mobile workstations, and biometric data management. As the Chief Technical Officer and Lead System Integrator for the Foreigners Identity Management System Project, Emmanuel demonstrated his ability to manage large-scale identity projects effectively. Emmanuel holds an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technician qualification from Accra Polytechnic and has received specialized training in Datacard MX 6000 and MPR 5800 systems, Sagem biometric access control systems, and Project Management from GIMPA. His additional training in the UK and France with the Datacard Group further enhanced his knowledge of EMV-compliant card personalization and issuance systems. With his strong technical skills and project management expertise, Emmanuel excels at leading diverse teams, managing contractors, and ensuring the timely, on-budget delivery of complex projects. His experience in high-volume card personalization, biometric systems, and intricate system integrations makes him a valuable asset to the technology sector.
Charles Mevaa

Charles Mevaa is a seasoned global executive with more than two decades of leadership in secure identity, smart cards and eGovernment systems across Europe, the United States, Asia and Africa. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Card Production Systems, ICPS, the manufacturing arm of Margins ID Group.
Prior to this appointment, Charles held senior executive roles within IN Groupe and SURYS, where he managed international business units across Europe and North America, delivering sustained revenue growth and double-digit profitability. He led global operations in optical and electronic secure components for identity documents, supporting major national programmes across Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Earlier, at Gemalto, later acquired by Thales, he directed government sales across Africa, securing landmark national identity, ePassport and biometric database contracts. During this period, he tripled regional revenues and received multiple distinctions,including the Highest Annual Growth Sales Award and the Project Management Excellence Award. At the outset of his career, Charles held senior engineering and quality leadership roles in semiconductor manufacturing, space and telecommunications with ATMEL, EADS Astrium and Wavecom. His work contributed to new technology introduction, yield optimisation and patented innovations in mobile communications and configurable electronic circuits.
He holds a PhD in Microelectronics from Ecole Centrale Lyon and completed executive education in Advanced General Management at HEC Paris. Fluent inFrench and English, he has worked in more than sixty countries and brings a deep understanding of government procurement, cross cultural negotiation and large -scale public sector transformation. He is recognised for building high performance teams, restoring organisational momentum and aligning innovation with measurable results.
Beyond his professional commitments, Charles values balance and cultural engagement. He enjoys long walks, watching football and is a dedicated supporter of Paris Saint Germain. He also maintains a strong interest in museums, art and jazz, reflecting an enduring appreciation for creativity, history and thoughtful expression.
As CEO of ICPS, Charles leads large scale secure manufacturing operations responsible for producing high security smart cards and secure documents that support national identity programmes, financial services, telecommunications and government credentials across the continent. His mandate spans strategy and operations: strengthening manufacturing excellence, deepening international certifications, scaling capacity and positioning ICPS as a globally competitive, African led secure production facility.
